At the end of 2006, GSHC launched a major art competition for its Foundation with the goal of supporting ESPERANZA,
COURIR ENSEMBLE and the HUG Children�s Hospital.
The jury of the Gen�ve-Servette Hockey Club Foundation for children and
humanity art competition gathered recently to elect the three best
works of art. All pieces were created by fans in adherence to the two
imposed themes of the competition which were "ice" and "hockey". Ten of
the best pieces were displayed in the arena during the PLAYOFFS which allowed
the general public to appreciate the qualities of them all.
The names of the three winners are :
- 1st prize : Andreas Rochat
- 2nd prize: Isabelle Perazzolo
- 3rd prize : Jacques Baume
Etihad Airways, partners with GSHC, were also associated with this competition.
The United Arab Emirates airline awarded two tickets, valid to any Etihad worldwide
destination, to the winner.
Gen�ve-Servette Hockey Club would like to thank all the artists who put their
skills on display for such a good cause.
All artworks will be available for sale in an upcoming auction to be held on
the official gshc.ch website.
