 en�ve-Servette Hockey Club Foundation for children and humanity |

Wishing to take advantage of its notoriety and of its aura of actions which have a social or humanitarian character, the Geneva-Servette Hockey Club has decided to create its own foundation. Officially created in September 2006, the foundation of Geneva-Servette Hockey Club has as its main focus, to come to the aid of organisations which support children, disadvantaged or sick people.
The three representatives of the foundation are the emblematic of Geneva-Servette who have accepted to commit themselves personally: the old players Philippe Bozon and Roger Chappot, in addition to the current garnet defender, Olivier Keller.
The success of the foundation will mostly be assured thanks to the involvement of all the members of the big Genevan hockey family and the partners of the club, by the support and the efforts of volunteers and also by the generosity of the public.
This season a number of campaigns were carried out to achieve that goal : the "donate a plush toy" night, the visit to the Children�s Hospital, the B&L; Associates Cup and the GSHC Foundation art competition with upcoming internet auction
The key element of the new logo is a teddy bear, one of the favourite symbols of recent GSHC campaigns. This teddy bear is equipped as a hockey player and is ready to come to the help of needy children under the guidance of Gen�ve-Servette.

| The association ESPERANZA |
|
The Esperanza association has the goal of helping to make the dreams of children and adolescents who are sick or disadvantaged in life, come true. Esperanza also has the goal of putting everything in place to get from hospitals or homes, any equipment which could improve the quality of life of those children.
The Geneva-Servette Hockey Club supports the actions of the Esperanza association, in favour of children who have rare diseases and organises a big campaign to collect funds during the games at the Vernets ice rink. 3000 game programmes are distributed each match evening. A complete page of information is reserved fro the association in order to appeal to all spectators of the GSHC and encourage them to make a donation.
The GSHC bears witness to its support of sick and disadvantaged children by the creation of its 2006 calendar. Half of the profits from the sale of these articles is donated to the Esperanza association in order to help it in the accomplishment of its missions in favour of children
Anders Olson, Director General of Geneva-Servette Hockey Club gave a cheque for CHF 31�600 to the association. This money was collected thanks to the gifts of the supporters of the GSHC and from the profits of calendar sales 2005-2006.
The GSHC would like to underline the generosity of its supporters who have proved that they care and participated with great enthusiasm in the actions led by their club.

COURIR.....SEMBLE the New York marathon 2006 for children suffering from cancer in �L�H�pital des Enfants de Gen�ve� is the realisation of two dreams
Tiffany�s who, in spite of a tumour in her leg wanted to participate in the race of �L�Escalade� � became adept at the foot race to pay homage
Volunteer assistant for nearly ten years in the onco-haematology service of the Geneva Children�s Hospital (L�H�pital des Enfants de Gen�ve) I ran a children�s DIY workshop. I offer patients a moment of pleasure, to help them escape the heaviness of the treatments.
COURIR.....SEMBLE which helps various donors and sponsors to improve the daily life of hospitalised children in �M�decine A1� by the realisation of a sporting challenge, is a non-profit organisation in Swiss law according to article 60 and ss of the Civil Code
The whole amount of funds gathered is destined to go to projects close to children and their desires
Financing the material of the DIY workshop.
A trip to the concert �des Enfoir�s�, to the benefit of the �Restos du C�ur�
The improvement of the daily life and the framework of life for hospitalised children.
