he Genève-Servette Hockey Club Foundation for Children and Humanity |
 |
The Genève-Servette Hockey Club foundation for children and humanity was created in November 2006.
It’s objective is to assist organizations that come to the help of underpriviledged and sick children
and persons. The foundation also pledges support to organizations that help children and persons
in the areas of sports, arts and education.
To accomplish this, the GSHC Foundation supports social and humanitarian campaigns through worthy
organizations by using the notoriety and communication platform available
through the Club.
The Foundation can also count on support from certain emblematic club figures such as Philippe Bozon,
Roger Chappot, as well as current Eagle defenceman , Olivier Keller.
The success of the Foundation is achieved thanks to the large Geneva hockey community, club partners and volunteers
that support the cause through their actions and generous donations of time and money.
For a number of years now, numerous campaigns have been organized by the Foundation including :
the Plush toy night, visits to the Children’s Hospital, Pink Nights, as well as the B&L Associates
Cup in partnership with the company of the same name. Other campaigns will be coming...
And don’t forget that the Foundation mascot, a Teddy Bear equipped as a hockey player, is ready
to come to the rescue of needy persons both near and far away.
