 he Support Clubs |

The Geneva-Servette hockey club now ahs two support clubs: l’Aigle Grenat
(the garnet eagle) and the Golden Eagle, and a third is actually in the process
of being created. But what is the real objective of these clubs and why are there
three of them? Their Objective The basic principle on which these clubs rest is simple: united we stand. In effect, the Geneva-Servette Hockey Club needs the assistance of all of its supporters, fans and sympathisers to reach the summit of the LNA. The support clubs are there to offer the possibility to all supporters of hockey and of the GSHC to group together and give both moral and more importantly financial support to the club they love. The objective of each of these clubs is therefore to attract a maximum of members in order to become real contributors in the life of the club and to aid the Eagles to reach their objectives. Each of the support clubs offers different advantages to its members to enable them to be closer to the team and players. However the main aim remains the support as stated above. The three Support Clubs If there are three clubs recognised by the GSHC, it is for each of them to support the club at their level. L’Aigle Grenat is the club which groups together th most members with an adult subscription of CHF 500.- which allows everyone to offer their support to the Eagles. The Golden Eagle club addresses a different category of supporters because its minimum contribution is fixed at CHF 2500.-. The third club is the Crystal Club, will be the one destined to those members wishing to offer a financial support, somewhat more sizeable. The directors of Geneva-Servette Hockey Club are aware of the importance of these different associations and prove this throughout the year by associating the support clubs with the life of the club. Priveledged access at meetings, private events and meetings with the players will be offered to members in 2006-2007. Managers of the GSHC and managers of the club work together hand in hand to reinforce the common knowledge of their association and the impact of their action for the Eagles and the Genevan community. Fans, supporters and sympathisers…you share a common passion for the GSHC, so don’t wait, join one of the support clubs and become a real actor in the life of your club. "The Aigle Grenat, an official GSHC support club, has the pleasure to announce that on March 13 2010, a check for CHF 8’000 was donated to the Club. In order to repeat the same gesture next year and help with the development of young hockey players, the association is constantly seeking new members and partners. Please help spread the word about our association to friends, family and colleagues. Starting with the 2009-2010 season, the Aigle Grenat support club annual fee will be raised to 500.- CHF. The purpose of this is for parity with other support clubs (not fans clubs) throughout Switzerland and to fulfill the desire to participate more actively financially with the club that is true to our hearts, GHSC. The Aigle Grenat can already count on 20 members for the coming season."
